紫外成像

科学家们感兴趣的很多生物分子在受到短波紫外线激发时会自然地发出荧光。这种“固有荧光”是一种强大的工具,因为不需要使用外源性的(非固有的)荧光染料标记。一个重要的应用是芳香族氨基酸的直接荧光成像,包括色氨酸、酪氨酸和苯丙氨酸,它们是蛋白质的基石。这些分子中的芳香环在 260 到 280 nm 范围内产生强烈的荧光激发峰。另一个应用是 DNA 定量。嘌呤和嘧啶是核酸(如 DNA 和 RNA)的碱基,在 260 到 280 nm 范围内有很强的吸收谱带。

Semrock 的 紫外 BrightLine® 荧光滤光片为直接荧光成像提供了强大的工具。这些紫外滤光片是牢靠的、“不易烧融” 的,提供的性能几乎相当于可见光滤光片和近红外滤光片。
