Semrock VersaChrome® 宽范围可调滤光片

薄膜滤光片由于具有很高的透射率(接近 100%),非常陡峭的光谱边缘以及在宽光谱范围内的高阻挡(OD 6 或更高),从而获得好的噪声抑制,因此是大多数光学系统中波长选择的理想解决方案。但是,直到现在,薄膜滤光片仅被视为“固定”滤光片,更改光谱特性需要切换滤光片。有一些机械装置可以执行滤光片切换,例如滤光片转轮,但这些装置通常尺寸较大,切换速度相对较慢(切换时间通常为 50 到 100 毫秒),并且它们仅能安装数量有限的滤光片(通常转轮包含 4 到 12 个滤光片位置)。因此,大小、速度和滤光方便性都受到限制。

当需要更高速度、更灵活的波长变化时,通常使用衍射光栅。光栅允许选择范围内的任何波长,并且由于仅需要旋转光栅,就可以相对的改变波长。因此,光栅是大多数扫描光谱测量系统的基础。但是,光栅不能提供很好的光谱辨别力 – 光谱边缘不是很陡,带外阻挡往往很差。基于光栅的系统还显示出对过滤的带宽控制不好。虽然可以调整带宽(通常通过调整机械缝隙的宽度),但边缘陡度会随着带宽的增加而降低。也许基于光栅的光谱仪器的局限性问题在于,至少需要一个空间维度才能以依赖于波长的方式散布光线,因此不可能直接用光栅来测量二维成像光束。

许多光学系统可从可调式滤光片中受益,可调式滤光片具有薄膜滤光片的光谱、二维成像性能特征,以及中间波长 CWL 调节速度和衍射光栅的方便性。液晶和声光可调滤光片和线性变量滤光片结合了其中的一些特性,但都不是理想的,并且都有其他限制。

Semrock 现在已经开发出一种新型滤光片技术:薄膜滤光片可以通过调节入射角(在很宽的波长范围内可调),而光谱性能基本上没有变化。目前有两类产品:具有可调式的带通滤光片和可调式的边缘滤光片。
