非常规入射角下的光谱

本目录中的许多滤光片(除二向色镜分束镜、偏振片和 MaxMirror®外)都经过优化,可用于正常入射或接近正常入射的光。然而,对于某些应用,需要了解非零入射角(AOI)的光谱特性如何变化。

当入射角度从正常角度增加时,滤光片的光谱有两个主要影响:

1.光谱特征向较短波长偏移;

2.出现了两种不同的光谱融合。一种是 S 偏振光,另一种是 P偏振光。

作为一个例子,下边的图表显示了一系列的光谱,这些光谱是从一个典型的 RazorEdge 长波通(LWP)滤光片设计中推导出来的。因为所有为正常情况设计的 RazorEdge 滤光片的设计都非常相似。

图中的一组曲线可以近似地应用于任何滤光片。这里,波长λ与波长λ0 (正常入射角)比较特定的光谱特性(在不同入射角的情况下,比较边缘位置)。从光谱曲线可以看出:当角度从正常入射角度增加时,滤光片边缘移向较短的波长。但是,S- 偏振和 P- 偏振光的偏移量不同。对于LWP滤光谱,与P偏振光相关的边缘比S偏振光相关的边缘移动更多,而对于短波通滤波器(SWP),则相反。由于这种偏振分离,当分离明显超过边缘陡度时,非偏振光的光谱在50%的透射点附近显示出一个“搁板”。然而,偏振光的边缘陡度仍然很高。

几乎任何光谱特征的移动都可以通过特征波长λ与入射角θ的简单模型进行近似量化,由以下方程式得出:

其中neff被称为有效折射率,λ0 是在正常入射时感兴趣的光谱特征的波长。对于不同的光谱特征和不同的滤光片,会发生不同的偏移,用不同的有效指数来描述。对于上面的 RazorEdge 举例,边缘上 90% 透射点的移动由该方程描述,对于s偏振光和p偏振光,neff 分别为2.08和1.62。

其他类型的滤光片在S偏振光和P偏振光的特征偏移上不一定表现出如此显著的差异。例如,下面的图显示了从典型的 MaxLine 激光线滤光片设计曲线导出的一系列光谱。当入射角从正常入射角增加时,中心波长向较短波长方向移动,而P偏振光的带宽稍变宽,而S偏振光的带宽则变窄。中心波长偏移由上述方程描述 ,对于S偏振光和P偏振光,neff 分别为2.19和2.13。 最显著的特点是S偏振的透过率降低。而P偏振光的透过率仍然很高。

另一个例子,右图显示了一系列的光谱。来自典型的 E 级 StopLine 陷波滤光片设计曲线。当入射角度从正常入射角持续增加时,陷波的缺口的中心波长发生位移,移到较短的波长; 然而,在P偏振中的位移大于S偏振的位移,该偏移可以用上述公式来描述,公式中,P-偏振光中neff = 1.71,P-偏振光中neff = 1.86。此外,缺口深度和带宽都随着 P-偏振光的入射角减少了,相比之下,缺口S-偏振光的深度和带宽增加。请注意,即使在入射角 = 45 ° 时,如果优化陷波滤光片的设计,仍然可能得到具有非常深缺口的陷波滤光片。
