Semrock 的边缘滤光片 – 包括 Semrock 中很陡的 RazorEdge® 拉曼滤光片和 EdgeBasic 滤光片,都可用于特定的拉曼实验和荧光成像,这些产品都有特定参数:“过渡宽度”。

过渡宽度(Transition Width) = 激光线 ( OD > 6 的地方)和 50% 透过点之间 Max 允许的光谱宽度

其它给定的滤光片也可以用 “边缘陡率(Edge Steepness)”来描述,也就是滤光片的实际陡率,不考虑边缘的精确波长定位。

边缘陡率(Edge Steepness) = 滤光片的实际陡率,从 OD 6 的点到 50% 透过点之间测量

图 1 表明了一个设计用于阻挡 785 nm 激光线的边缘滤光片(使用U-级别RazorEdge滤光片举例)过渡宽度和边缘陡率。下表 1 列出了 Semrock 边缘滤光片(25 mm 直径)的过渡宽度 (guaranteed Transition Width) 和典型边缘陡率(typical Edge Steepness)。

所有 RazorEdge 滤光片提供出类拔萃的陡率,可以测量非常接近被阻挡的激光线附近的信号,同时具有高的信噪比。但是,E- 级别的 RazorEdge 滤光片将这种“非常接近”提升到一个尤其高的水平。

如左图所示,“U-级别” RazorEdge 滤光片的过渡宽度是激光波长的 1% ,因此, 785 nm 滤光片在 792.9 nm 时,透过率 < 50%,对应的 Max 波数为 126 cm–1。“E-级别” 滤光片的过渡宽度要窄两倍,是激光波长的 0.5 %, 因此, 785 nm 滤光片在 788.9 nm 时,透过率 < 50%,对应的 Max 波数为 63 cm–1

“边缘陡率” 是滤光片的实际陡率,不考虑边缘波长的放置是否精确,“U-级别” RazorEdge 滤光片被设计为,陡率是激光波长的 0.5% 或对于 785 nm 的滤光片,陡率为 3.9 nm (63cm –1)。“E-级别” 滤光片被设计为边缘陡率是 2.5 倍的更窄,只有 0.2% 的激光波长,或者对于 785 nm 的滤光片,陡率为 1.6 nm (25 cm–1) 。
