对于拉曼光谱应用,您应该考虑哪些滤光片?

拉曼光谱目前广泛应用于工业过程控制、实验室研究、生物/化学防护措施等领域。从这种高度特定的分析技术中获益的行业包括化学、聚合物、制药、半导体、宝石学、计算机硬盘和生命科学领域。在拉曼光谱中,使用一束强激光从被测样品中产生拉曼(非弹性)散射光。拉曼“指纹”是用色散或傅立叶变换光谱仪测量的。

拉曼仪器有三种基本类型。拉曼显微镜,也被称为显微拉曼分光光度计,是大型实验室分析仪器,用于在非常小的特定样品区域进行快的、高精度的拉曼测量。传统的实验室拉曼光谱仪主要用于研发应用,从”自制“到灵活的商业系统,提供各种激光源、固定各种样品(固体和液体)的方法以及不同的滤光片和光谱仪类型。第三类出现的拉曼仪器是拉曼微探针分析仪。这些完整、紧凑且通常是便携式的系统非常适合在现场或在紧凑的制造和工艺环境中使用。它们利用一个包含滤光片和透镜的远程探针头,通过光纤连接到主机。

滤光片是拉曼光谱系统中的关键元件,它可以阻挡所有不需要的光到达光谱仪,这些不需要的光会淹没相对较弱的拉曼信号。安装在激光器和样品之间的激光滤光片用于阻止来自激光器的所有不需要的光(如宽带自发辐射或等离子体线)、以及激光器和样品之间产生的任何拉曼散射或荧光(如在光纤微探针系统中)。在样品和分光计之间插入的激光阻挡滤光片在激光波长处阻挡瑞利(弹性)散射光。

上图显示了一种常见的系统布局,其中拉曼发射沿着与激光激发路径不同的光路被收集。设计用于成像的系统(例如拉曼显微镜系统)或带有远程光纤探针的系统通常布置在激发和发射路径一致的情况下,以便两者都可以利用相同的光纤和透镜。

在具有单独激发和发射路径的系统中,有三种基本类型的滤光片:激光线滤光片、边缘滤光片(或称截止滤光片)和陷波滤光片。下面的例子说明了如何使用各种滤光片。在这些图中,蓝线代表滤光片的透过光谱,绿线代表激光光谱,红线代表拉曼信号(不按比例显示)。

激光线滤光片是激光透过滤光片的理想选择,陷波滤光片是激光阻挡滤光片的明显选择。在使用这两种滤光片的系统中,斯托克斯拉曼散射和反斯托克斯拉曼散射都可同时测量。然而,在许多情况下,截止滤光片(又称边缘滤光片)可更好的替代掉陷波滤光片。例如,用作测量斯托克斯散射的激光阻挡滤光片的长波通(LWP)截止滤光片提供了更好的传输、更高的激光线阻挡和更陡的边缘性能,以查看非常接近激光线的拉曼信号。

在具有共同激发和发射路径的系统中,必须将激光引入光路,光路还允许拉曼发射传输到检测系统。在这种情况下,需要一个45°的二向色镜分光镜。如果这种分光器没有陷波滤光片或激光线滤光片那么陡峭,那么就失去了接近这些滤光片所允许的激光线的能力。
