蒸发器系统使减少液体废物的效率提高了 94%

2020 年 8 月上旬,LSO 的 Semrock 团队在滤光片制造区安装了蒸发器系统。该装置使公司能够处理我们滤光片取芯操作中使用的冷却剂,同时减少发送到我们的废物管理服务的废物量。此外,到 2021 年中期,我们一半的生产仪器上安装了离心机,进一步减少了废冷却液。在提高冷却剂的使用寿命方面,我们已经看到新离心机系统的改进,并将在我们在所有取芯钻头区域实施离心机系统时继续监测和测量。

总体而言,我们已经看到在大幅减少我们产生的液体废物方面取得了 94% 的改进。在使用这两个回收系统之前,罗切斯特的废物管理服务每月都会以高昂的成本回收装满冷却剂废物的 55 加仑钢桶,并增加了燃料排放的碳足迹。相比之下,在安装后的 16 个月中,蒸发器系统蒸发了数十个桶的废物,并将收集量减少到每年一次。
